Ratatouille

Couscous

I had couscous for the first time as a missionary, and it is really good.

I've had a hard time finding it here, I found it at Target, but it was pretty pricey.

Oh fudge!

This is a classic recipe from the 1965 edition of the Betty Crocker Boys and Girls cookbook that I have loved making since junior high.

Chocolate fudge

Mix in a saucepan:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa

Stir in:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 Tbsp light corn syrup

Bring to boiling. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.

Add immediately:
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Adding 1 cup at a time, stir in
2 1/2 to 3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Turn into an ungreased square pan, 8x8x2 inches, and pat out with fingers. cool.

Cut into squares

Makes about 36 squares

Gingersnaps

Spinach something or other

Many summers ago I tried this recipe that I saw on Martha Stewart and no I do not have the slightest idea what it is called?
